Thank our Non-Chinese Speaking parents for their help, organising food tasting activity for our K2 children, so that we could learn about food from different places, fostering cultural exchange and building a culturally inclusive school culture.
“Bhel Puri” is a low fat Indian snack which is usually made with puffed rice and sev, mixing with diced onion, potato and other vegetables. Generally, a sour and spicy sauce would be added into a traditional “Bhel Puri”, but it usually would not be added for children. The making process was simple and easy that children could grasp easily. They were excited and asked if they could try.
Children liked the handmade snack very much, and they were satisfied to see what they had made. They enjoyed the “Bhel Puri” so much that some of them even had two or three bowls!
