Our school is honored to have been invited to attend the "Seminar on division difference and whole school approach for Non-Chinese Speaking Preschoolers” organized by the Hong Kong Education Bureau and the Centre for Advancement Chinese Learning Education and Research at the University of Hong Kong. Principal Ho shared our school's experience in school-based practices, including "establishing a team to promote whole-school participation." Through different perspectives, various teaching activities and teaching tips were introduced to more than 100 industry representatives, including principals, directors, and teachers, to promote the interest and ability of non-Chinese speaking children in learning Chinese, as well as to lay a solid foundation for their future development and growth.
During the sharing session, a primary school principal shared about the transition from early childhood to primary school, and Sahal Zaman, a student, shared his own learning journey as a non-Chinese speaking student. The atmosphere was lively and the audience gave enthusiastic applause, providing inspiration and encouragement to educators.
