Thank you to the parent volunteers for helping to organise the picture books
Early in the morning, the parent volunteers entered the campus to assist the school in organising picture books on different themes.
We would like to specially thank Uncle Kenny, the giraffe from Green Footprints, for coming to our school and sharing the importance of "parent-child reading" with the parent volunteers. Through engaging activities, Uncle Kenny helped parents enjoy the pleasure of reading and learn techniques for engaging in parent-child reading.
During the process, the parent volunteers exchanged and shared their experiences and insights on parent-child reading, as well as personally experienced the joy that reading brings. They made friends with like-minded individuals and worked together to selflessly contribute to the growth of their children. Through the collaboration between families and schools, they are promoting and establishing good reading habits for children that will last a lifetime.
